In August 2023, TBS has completed the acquisition of 100% of Asia Medical Enviro Services (“AMES”). With a strong operating track record, AMES offers a full suite of medical and biohazardous waste management services – from waste collection to treatment and disposal – to the majority of public and private hospitals in Singapore.

AMES operates two dedicated medical waste incineration plants and a specialized fleet of trucks in Singapore. AMES has received numerous awards from the Government for its contribution during pandemic crises such as SARS, H1N1, and Covid-19.

AMES has an operating track record of over 25 years and has long-established relations and contracts with blue chips healthcare clients such as the SingHealth Group, Raffles Hospital, Zuellig Pharmaceutical, and research institutions like NUS and NTU.
